# Flostep > Flostep turns a text description of a flow into an interactive diagram you step through one interaction at a time, then share by link, present, or embed. Write one step per line as `A -> B: what happens`, in the order things happen. Flostep is for explaining how something works: a request crossing three services, a login or payment flow, a refund escalating from a customer to support to finance, an approval chain, a customer journey. Participants don't have to be software. The same diagram reads two ways, switched by whoever has it open: a flow graph of components and connections, or a UML-style sequence diagram. The toggle works on share links and embeds too. How it differs from diagrams-as-code tools such as Mermaid or PlantUML: a Flostep diagram is a hosted, interactive walkthrough saved to an account and shared by link, rather than markup that renders a static image in a file. It does not do class, ER, state, or Gantt diagrams, and it does not export diagram source to paste into a repository. ## Try it - [Try Flostep without an account](https://flostep.dev/try): build a diagram in the browser editor, no signup. Editing needs a desktop or tablet browser; on a phone the canvas is view-only. - [Home page](https://flostep.dev/): includes a live, embedded example diagram. ## Plans Prices are per month. Visitors in India are billed in INR, everyone else in USD. - Free ($0): up to 3 saved diagrams, all component types, step-through walkthroughs, shareable public links, and embeds. - Pro ($3 / ₹199): everything in Free, plus unlimited diagrams, PNG and SVG export, full-screen presentation mode, and comments on shared links. - Team ($30 / ₹1,999 for the whole team): everything in Pro for up to 10 members, each with their own login, plus one shared library with shared folders and attribution of who created and last changed each diagram.
